The Picasso Century – an overview of a remarkable NGV exhibition

Man of powers: The wide-ranging influence of one of the 20th century’s defining artists is explored in ‘The Picasso Century’.

Occupying two huge wings of the National Gallery of Victoria, The Picasso Century details the extraordinary work of Pablo Picasso and the depth of his influence on many other artists. Curator Didier Ottinger – Deputy Director of the Musée national d’art moderne, Centre Pompidou in Paris – and NGV director Tony Ellwood AM provide an overview. Speeches and interviews were recorded at the media preview on Friday 10 June, 2022.

The exhibition runs at the NGV International, St Kilda Rd, until Sunday 9 October.
